It can be overwhelming to make this decision, and as parents we often fret and worry over this exact decision.

Today on the podcast I have Lacey Wood who talks with me about what are the different language modalities that you can choose from and how to make the best decisions for your child and for your family.

Lacey Wood is a Teacher of the Deaf whose specialties include supporting families with deaf/ hard of hearing children ages birth to five, as well as coming alongside families whose children are Deaf Plus.

She has experience teaching deaf/ hard of hearing preschoolers using ASL, as well as providing Early Intervention to families and children who are using sign language and/or Listening and Spoken Language.

Her passions include fostering whole-family language development on behalf of DHH little ones, as well as nurturing healthy earliest relationships among DHH children and their families.
